*WINCHESTER FACTORY VENT RIB MODEL 42 SKEET GUN. SN 159288. Cal. 410. 28″ rectangular base vent rib bbl with single white Bradley sighting bead. 3″ chamber and skeet choke mark. Rib is stamped on left side, “Simmons – Patented” with offset factory proof mark. Receiver has narrow rib extension with corresponding offset factory proof mark. Mounted in fancy walnut with two panel checkered skeet forend, checkered pistol grip stock with metal grip cap, 14-3/8″ to Winchester solid red recoil pad. Bore measurements are N/A. Drop at heel. 2″. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight 6 lbs 10 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and receiver retain 95-98% orig blue with just sharp edge wear and usual light handling marks. Stocks are sound with usual light handling marks and a little dark where it meets the receiver, with an added light coat of wiped on finish. Checkering is fine. There are a few minor chips where the wood meets the recoil pad. Mechanics are crisp, and bore is shiny on this fine factory vent rib 42. 4-31656 BDT159 (4,000-6,000)
