EXTREMELY RARE LAMBERT CANE GUN. Cal. 32. 32” rnd bbl, marked “LAMBERT’S / PATENT” on the left side of the action. These were reported to have been made by Ethan Allen but none has ever been found with his marking. The ivory top is pulled back and bent downwards to both cock the gun and serve as a handle for firing. The percussion nipple is under the hammer at the top and is similar in operation to Allen’s pepperboxes. CONDITION: Brass tip is a replacement. Wood cover for the bbl has short cracks but is still solid. Ivory handle has minor age cracks but they, too, are still solid. 4-53119 FS107 (3,000-5,000)
