*MAHRBOLDT-PETERLONGO 2-BBL SET OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. SN 41423. Cal. 20 gauge/.410. 20 gauge bbl: 26″ matted vent rib with red Bradley sighting bead. 3″ chambers, MOD/IMP.MOD chokes, ejectors, and Miller single trigger. 410 bbl: 26″ vent rib with single white sighting bead, 3″ chambers, IMP.CYL/IMP.CYL chokes, and ejectors. Both bbls are Bohler-Spezial-Spahl. The Merkel style reinforced action with side plates, is fully engraved in a floral and foliate scroll pattern with shaded background, and has a banner engraved, “Mahrboldt-Peterlongo” on each side. Mounted with semi fancy walnut with checkered 3-pc forend, checkered pistol grip with horn grip cap with blank initial oval. Left side oval cheek piece, 14-1/2″ over serrated horn butt plate. Toe line has blank gold initial oval. 20 gauge: Bore diameter: top -.622, bottom -.621. Bore restrictions: top -.023, bottom -.018. Wall thickness: top -.028, bottom -.036. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. .410 bbl: Bore measurements: N/A. Weight: 7 lbs 5 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bluing on both bbls are original and in 95-98%, with just some minor light scratches and a few usual dings. Gray receiver is clean and crisp with a little bit of oil darkening. Stocks are sound with usual small nicks and dings, and retains most of it’s orig finish. Checkering is crisp and sharp.
