*GENOSSENSCHAFT der BUCHSENMACHERMEISLER 2-BBL SET OVER/UNDER SHOTGUN. SN 2044.48/2095.62. Cal. 12 gauge. 26″ and 27-1/2″ solid rib with dual gold sighting bead. Set one: 2-3/4″ chambers IMP.CYL/MOD with ejectors. Top rib marked with makers name Ferlach, Austria. Set two: unmarked rib but each side marked, “Bohler Blitz Stahl.” 3″ chambers and FULL/FULL choke, ejectors, and double triggers. Each bbl is also equipped with bottom bbl mounted sling swivel. Receiver is engraved with relief floral scroll with relieved engraved fox and duck on left side, and relieved engraved two hares in a wooded scene on right, and bottom being a fine foliate arabesque scroll with shading. Mounted with fancy streaky walnut, and checkered 3-pc forend, with one bottom piece for both bbls. Checkered pistol grip with sculpted horn butt plate, cheek piece on left side, 14-7/8″ over White Line vented pad. Engraved oval in toe line with, “James H. Hopkins” with sling swivel just above. Set one: Bore diameter: top -.717, bottom -.717. Bore restrictions: top -.010, bottom -.000. Wall thickness: top -.035, bottom -.035. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs 6 oz. Set two: Bore diameter: top -.716, bottom -.716. Bore restrictions: top -.023, bottom -.025. Wall thickness: top -.034, bottom -.029. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs 4 oz. It should be noted the longer bbls which are the second set of measurements are marked, “2044.48” and the second set of bbls, first measurement 2095.62, and have the makers name on top of rib. The flats of the receiver are marked on top flat when read left to right 2095.62 and bottom 2044.48. Housed in a leather case with green lining and a Perazzi label. CONDITION: Fine. The longer bbls retain nearly all of a factory quality restored blue with just a few minor light scratches. The shorter bbls retain most of a factory orig blue with just a few minor light scratches. Stocks are sound with a few minor nicks and dings and retain most of a fine factory quality restored finish. Checkering is clean and sharp.
