COBALT TO CLEAR INTAGLIO VASES. Wonderful hand blown vases have cobalt overlay bowls which is intaglio cut through to clear. The first vase has an intaglio pattern depicting two fishermen at the edge of a stream or pond with fishing poles and lines in the water. One fishermen is pulling a fish out of the water. The scene is finished with intaglio cut trees and shrubs. The second vase has tethered bowl being harassed by two dogs with the dog’s master behind them. Background is cut with trees and meadows.
