*OUTSTANDING RUSSIAN BEST QUALITY SIDELOCK OVER/UNDER SHOT GUN. SN N780152. Cal. 12 ga. 29-1/2″ bbls, solid rib with single silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers MOD/FULL chokes, ejectors and articulated dbl triggers. Silver colored sidelock receiver is nicely ornamented with foliate arebesque scroll surrounding two flying ducks at left plate and two partridges on right and a rae buck across bottom. The sculpted fences and top lever are engraved with oakleaf and arebesque scroll. Top tang engraved “CT 1 MPLSMN”. Mounted in nicely figured walnut with checkered 3-pc forend. Checkered straight grip stock with dropper points, Monte Carlo and 14-3/8″ to checkered butt which is stamped “MADE IN USSR”. This is an extremely well made firearm and locks up as well as the better known models. Bore diameter: top -.0729, bottom -.730. Bore restrictions: top -.037, bottom -.020. Wall thickness: top -.034, bottom -.034. Drop at heel:2-3/8″ . Drop at comb:1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 9 oz. CONDITION: Extremely Fine perhaps test fired only. BBLS retain 99% original blue with just the lightest of fine handling marks. The silver colored receiver is bright and crisp. Stocks are sound with only a few faint light handling marks and virtually all of their fine original finish. Checkering is sharp. Mechanics are crisp and bores are bright and shiny.
