EXTREMELY RARE PRESENTATION REMINGTON CANE GUN. Cal. 32 RF. SN: 92. 29-3/8” rnd bbl. There are two silver bands around the gutta percha on the action. The top is engraved in floral patterns. The bottom is marked in script “Rev. R. T. Middleditch D.D. from M. Franklin Bristead. / 1866 / Thy Staff and Protector”. Large dog head handle. CONDITION: Gutta percha has faded to an olive color but shows little wear. Small corroded spot below the bottom presentation ring. 4-53109 FS97 (4,000-8,000)
