*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SEMI-DELUXE SPECIAL ORDER LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 25-35. SN 234586. Fine special order rifle with 26” oct to rnd bbl, Lyman ivory bead combination front sight and 3-leaf express rear sight. It has button magazine, “I” style checkering, nicely grained American walnut wood with capped pistol gripped stock and crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains most of a professionally restored finish and the receiver about 85% strong original finish, flaked to gray and thin toward the front edges. Lever retains about 20% case colors with the balance turned silver and the hammer about 95% dark colors. Buttplate retains 75-80% faded case colors. Forearm shows heavy wear and retains most of a professionally restored finish. Butt stock shows moderate wear and retains most of its original bright factory varnish. Good mechanics, strong bright bore, slightly frosty in the grooves. 4-52871 JR373 (1,000-2,000)
