OUTSTANDING 9-PIECE COTTAGE PINE BEDROOM SET. A really great example of the hand decorated 19th C furniture. Set consists of a nicely decorated bed, matching mirrored chest, matching commode, matching stand, four chairs and a boudoir rocker (rocker and one side chair have slightly different decoration). Headboard, lavishly decorated with a vignette of nicely painted flowers centered by a scenic panel depicting lake, mountains, sailboat, etc. A particularly nice set, hard to fine in this condition. CONDITION: Generally very good to excellent. There are some scuffs and scrapes scattered throughout the set but in general the colors are very bright and strong. Decoration on the headboard is particularly nice. 9-97690 (1,500-1,800)
