GEORGE III SILVER MEAT DISH. J. Young, London, 1785. Plain oval tray with thread molded edge rim having six cross ribbon sections. Plain well. Both sides of the rim engraved with the Royal Arms. One side showing a crown above a round coat of arms which is quartered “hont sorr qui ma…”. Other side with a crown over a shield with an inner shield and crown. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (FW Woolworth Dept. Store). WEIGHT: 90 tr. oz. SIZE: 24-1/2” x 16-1/4”. CONDITION: Knife marks to well, otherwise very good. 9-29513 (1,500-2,500)
