FABULOUS VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD JEWELRY-VANITY CHEST. This spectacular piece, veneered in rosewood and extensively inlaid with mother of pearl floral designs all with detailed engraved design. The cabinet has a lift top lid with a drop down vanity area. When opened reveals a number of compartments. The front of the cabinet fitted with two doors, when opened reveal three serpentine front small jewelry drawers. Bottom of which is actually a traveling writing box fitted with pewter inkwell, sander and a fold down writing surface. Entire case is veneered in rosewood and supported on small turned legs. SIZE: 16-1/2” h x 16-1/2” w x 11” d. CONDITION: Generally very good. A couple of small pieces of veneer missing. 9-98028 (1,000-2,000)
