*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal 32 WS SN 216183 Standard grade rifle with 26” oct bbl, full magazine, ivory bead Beach’s front sight, smokeless rear sight and Lyman tang sight. It has about 3X “fancy” wood with crescent buttplate. Accompanied by a Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying this rifle with “Fancy Stock” and indicating shipment on June 21, 1904 to Order #233535. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 97-98% strong bright original blue and the receiver 95-96% strong original blue with light edge wear and thinning on bottom. Lever retains 60-70% brilliant case colors with the balance turned silver. Hammer retains most of its original dark case colors and buttplate about 60% fading case colors. Wood is sound with a few very light handling and storage marks and retains most of its brilliant piano finish varnish. Mechanics are fine, brilliant shiny bore. 4-52415 JR212 (3,000-5,000)
