ATTRIBUTED TO ERNEST LAWSON (American, 1873-1939) “FOG BELL AND LIGHT, RIDGWAY PARK”. Oil on board scene shows a lighthouse at the end of a wood pier which also holds a fog bell housed in a wood structure. Reflections in water and bluish type sky. Unsigned front. Back has old pencil inscription with title and a what appears to be a script signature “E. Lawson”. Also pencil inscribed “4 in gilt for frame”. Housed in a flat oak gilt frame. SIZE: 9” x 12”.
