H&R HANDY GUN. Cal. 22 LR. SN 160. Single shot pistol, built on a small shotgun frame with 12-1/4” tapered rnd bbl, pedestal mounted patridge front sight with a fully adjustable unusual rear sight that has a flip up peep aperture. It has a tiny splinter forearm with flat side receiver marked “H. & R. Handy Gun” on the left side and has the maker’s name and address on the right side. It is fitted with a checkered 1-pc walnut grip that has recesses for a wire shoulder stock attachment. An original brown leather flap holster with light impressed rope pattern decorations accompanies it. CONDITION: Bbl retains about 95% strong original blue with a scrape on the side, a small ding at the muzzle and some light fine surface rust. Receiver retains about 75-80% bright original blue with flaking on the left and right sides and some light surface rust on the right side. Grip and forearm finish has flaked to about 50%, otherwise is sound. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. Holster is lightly soiled, slightly dry, but fine. 4-52943 JR720 (500-1,000)
