LARGE GEORGE III SILVER MEAT DISH. R. Salmon, London, 1799. Plain oval tray with thread molded edge rim, plain well, engraved arms on one side of rim which depict three sturgeon with crosses surrounded by scroll work. The other side of rim with crest depicting a hounds head flanked by wings. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (FW Woolworth Dept. Store). WEIGHT: 128 tr. oz. SIZE: 25” x 19-1/2”.
