*CASED BROWNING GRADE 1 2BBL SET SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 14594. Cal. 20ga. 26-1/2″ bbls vent rib with sgl brass sighting beads. Set 1 is chambered for 3″ and is choked SKEET/SKEET. Set 2 is chambered for 3″ and is choked MOD/FULL. Usual Grade 1 receiver with gold trigger and mounted with straight grain walnut with checkered rnd knob pistol grip and long tang trigger guard, 14-1/4″ to Browning hard rubber buttplate. Both bbl sets are equipped with checkered field-style fore ends. Set 1: Bore diameter: top -.617, bottom -.614. Bore restrictions: top -.006, bottom -.004. Wall thickness: top -.030, bottom -.033. Set 2: Bore diameter: top- .610, bottom -.610. Bore restrictions: top -.025, bottom -.015. Wall thickness: top -.038, bottom -.037. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-3/8. Weight:6lbs. 6oz. Gun is accompanied with Browning luggage case with blue velour lining. CONDITION: As new from complete factory restoration. Both bbls, receiver, and trigger guard retain 98-99% of what would appear to be a factory restoration of their blue finish. The rnd knob, long tang stocks have only the very faintest and light handling marks with what is believed to be a factory restored hard Browning style finish. The breech face has some light pitting from its life prior to this believed factory restoration. Mechanics are crisp and bores are shiny.
