*SPECTACULAR BROWNING FIELD GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 39937V5. Cal. 20 gauge. 26-1/2″ bbl with matted vent rib, single silver sight bead, 3″ chambers, MOD/FULL choke, ejectors, and single selective trigger. Usual engraved grade 1 receiver with moderate foliate scroll, and has “Lightning Browning” and a bust of John Browning engraved on bottom of receiver. Mounted with nicely figured streaky walnut with checkered field style forend, checkered round knob pistol grip stock with long tang, 14-1/8″ over Browning hard rubber butt-plate. Bore diameter: top -.623, bottom -.622. Bore restrictions: top -.027, bottom -.015. Wall thickness: top -.040, bottom -.037. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″. Drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 7 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Entire gun is 98-99% with just a very few light handling marks and appears to be test fired only.
