ZSOLNAY DECORATED PLATE. Wonderful early Zsolnay plate has slip decorated design of trees against red water and sky background. Marked on the back with white five churchs mark under the glaze. Mark used from 1893-1930. Back of plate is impressed “Hungary”, some letters and numbers that are discernable, “470” as well as “11”. SIZE: 9 in. dia. CONDITION: Couple of minor scratches to the front of the plate and a small chip on underside at a hole for hanging. 5-60290 (300-500)
