TIGER MAPLE CHIPPENDALE SLANT FRONT DESK. The fabulous tiger graining on the lid, four drawers and base has a honey brown old color. Each of the four graduated drawers fitted with bale replaced brasses. Chestnut secondary wood. The lid fitted with a matching escutcheon plate having a lock present. A good interior fitted with five drawers over two long drawers. Central drawer with secret pullout compartment, also eight pigeonholes. Original key is present. SIZE: 42-1/4” h x 20” d x 38” d. CONDITION: Generally in very good condition with some old repairs and restoration including the lid and base. 9-28343 (4000-6000)
