*BROWNING DIANA GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 86792S8. Cal. 12 ga. 30″ vent rib bbl with single silver sighting bead. 3″ chambers. Choke mark as FULL/MOD ejectors and single trigger. Characteristic Diana Grade receiver is signed on both sides “CH.SERVAIS” and consists of forested scenes surrounded by floral scroll with five pheasants on left side, two quail on bottom, four ducks on right side and two rabbits on short tang trigger guard. Mounted in fancy walnut with checkered field style forend and checkered rnd knob pistol grip. 14 1/4″ to BROWNING vented recoil pad. Bore diameter: top -.723, bottom -.722. Bore restrictions: top-.038, bottom -.012. Wall thickness: top -.046, bottom -.048. Drop at heel:2-1/8″ . Drop at comb:1-3/8″ . Weight: 8lbs. 5oz. CONDITION: Fine. BBL retains 95-98% original blue with normal very minor scratches and small nicks on sharp edges of rib. Faint scraping line on bottom bbl from forend sliding forward and back. No sign of salt on forend screw or forend metal. Gray receiver is clean and sharp with some very minor pitting on edge touching stock and showing dark on the right side probably caused from a salt cured stock. Stocks are solid with just a few minor light usual handling marks with a very small amount of chipped finish on receiver rebate cut on both sides of lower tang.
