Cal. 12 gauge. 28″ matted vent rib bbls with single silver sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers MOD/FULL choke, ejectors, and single trigger. The characteristic Diana receiver is engraved and signed on both sides, “Vandersmisseng.” left side with four pheasants, bottom with two quail in flight, right with four ducks, and balance of receiver is foliate scroll and two rabbits on trigger guard. Mounted in fancy nicely figured walnut with checkered field style forend, checkered round knob pistol grip with long tang, 14-1/4″ to Browning hard rubber butt plate. Bore diameter: top -.724, bottom -.723. Bore restrictions: top -.037, bottom -.019. Wall thickness: top -.029, bottom -.032. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 12 oz. Housed in Browning luggage case with “Hartman” marked latches. Also with case is Browning booklet, and full guarantee paper. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Gun probably has not been fired since new, but on left side of upper bbl is about a 1/2″ size cleaned spot, and a few minor pinhead sized rust spots. Receiver is crisp and bright with no discolorations. Stocks are sound and have only very slight minor handling marks with clean, crisp, dry checkering.
