*RARE BROWNING GRADE 5 SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 32252. Cal. 12 ga., 30″ bbl with matte vent rib and ivory center and white bradley front sighting beads, chambers open to 3″ and choke mark at FULL/IMP.MOD, ejectors, single gold trigger. Receiver engraved with foliate scroll and game scenes with left side receiver 6 pheasants 2 in flight, bottom 2 ducks in flight, right side 5 ducks 3 in flight, and a perched pheasant on trigger guard bow. Mounted with fancy streaky walnut with full checkered field style forend, checkered round knob, long tang stock, 14″ to browning hard rubber buttplate. Bore diameter: top -.724 , bottom -.724. Bore restrictions: top -.015, bottom -.008. Wall thickness: left -.050, right -.050. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 8lbs 2 oz. Based on measurements, when the chambers were opened to 3″ the chokes were opened to IMP.CYL/MOD. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 95-98% orig blue with usual scrap marks on bottom bbl from forend. Slight muzzle wear and just a few light handling or storage marks. Grayed receiver and appended metal are bright and clean. Stocks are sound with nearly all of their factory type restored finish and only a few very minor handling marks with sharp crisp checkering. 4-32030 BDT96 (7,000-10,000)
