*BROWNING LONG TANG ROUND KNOB MIDAS GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 22948S4. Cal. 12 ga. 26-1/2″ bbls hand filed vent rib with ivory center, and ivory Bradley style front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers and Skeet/Skeet choke. The usual Midas grade receiver, engraved by “Vranken” with leafy vine and foliate scroll, three gold pheasants in flight surrounded by gold line on left side, gold quail in flight on bottom, and three gold ducks in flight with gold line on right side. Hammer pin and ejector pin are gold plated as well as “S O U” inlaid in gold at safety. Mounted with extremely highly figured walnut, checkered field style forend, and checkered round knob pistol grip 13-5/8″ to Browning vented recoil pad. Bore diameter: top -.725, bottom -.726. Bore restrictions: top -.003, bottom -.004. Wall thickness: top -.033, bottom -.034. Drop at heel: 2″. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 7 lbs 9 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine. All metal areas, bbl, receiver, trigger guard, forend metal, all retain 98-99% of their orig finish. The highly figured wood has virtually all of it’s orig factory finish, with just a couple of the very faintest light handling marks with sharp, dark checkering.
