CLASSIC TETE JUMEAU DRESSED AS BRIDE DOLL. Nicely painted closed mouth Jumeau circa 1890, with large amber paperweight eyes, with head stamped in red “Depose TETE JUMEAU Bte S.G.D.G. 10” on her original fully jointed French wood and composition body stamped in blue “JUMEAU Medialle D’or Paris”. She is wearing a lovely antique cream silk bridal gown with lace trim on the collar, sleeves and skirt as well as a matching bonnet with silk ribbon trim. The shoes are not original but nevertheless nice quality, antique white leather shoes with cardboard soles and an impressed “8” on each shoe. She also wears an antique blond mohair wig over cork pate. SIZE: 21″ (54cm). CONDITION: Excellent. 1-8455 RS (3,000-4,000)
