GALLE MARQUETRY & ENGRAVED SCENT BOTTLE. Absolutely fantastic Galle scent bottle has greenish amber glass body giving way to what are best described as flames of rose, lilac, green and gold glass extending upwards. The bottle is then engraved with downward sweeping leaf like design with light gold gilt. Bottle is topped with a cobalt blue stopper which we do not believe to be original to the bottle. Signed on the side with an engraved and stylized signature “Galle”. SIZE: 8” t to top of stopper. 3-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Very slight roughness to inside of lip, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-70891 (7,000-10,000)
