*BROWNING P1 WITH GOLD SUPERLITE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN P23RR1054. Cal. 20 ga. 26-1/2″ vent rib bbl with single silver sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers. MOD/FULL with ejectors and single trigger. Blued receiver is signed “J. Baerten” and engraved with oak leaf, acorn pattern, and inlaid with gold flying rooster pheasant on left side, and similar gold rooster in flight on right. Bottom engraved with bouquet of oak leaf and acorns. Trigger guard bow is engraved with oak leaf, acorns. “S O U” inlaid in gold at safety. Mounted with fancy marble cake walnut with checkered Schnabel forend and checkered straight grip stock 14-3/8″ over Browning hard rubber butt plate. Bore diameter: top -.621, bottom -.620. Bore restrictions: top -.024, bottom -.009. Wall thickness: top -.034, bottom -.034. Drop at heel: 1-7/8″. Drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight: 5 lbs 15 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls have 95-98% orig blue with some very light muzzle wear and slight scuffing from forend sliding forward. Receiver retains 98-99% of it’s orig blue. There is a slight amount of wear on forward portion on take down metal. Trigger guard has slight sharp edge wear and a little bit of thinning through the grip area.
