HANDMADE PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 28. SN: none. 4-1/8″ octagonal bbl. Marked “A. Lupus” on the left side of the bbl. Shaped much like a Colt revolver with a brass frame. The cylinder stops are round. Lupus’ only listing was in the 1867 New Hampshire Gazetteer in Dover, New Hampshire. CONDITION: Brown patina with light surface rust on iron parts, dark patina on the brass parts. Wood is chipped at the bottom with dents and scratches overall.
