UNSIGNED (American, 19th/20th Century) COASTAL SAILING. Oil on cardboard nautical scene shows two-mast schooner sails right to left in choppy green ocean. A steamship is off the stern and a large sailing ship is off the port bow. Off port bow is a rock island with white and black lighthouse. Unsigned. Housed in an oak modern molded wood frame. SIZE: 15-3/4” x 22”. CONDITION: Very good, craquelure. A nice primitive scene. 9-28252 (800-1200)
