WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE COVERED VASE. Outstanding Fairyland Lustre vase in the Jeweled Tree pattern features large tree trunks extending upwards and flowing into a rich pattern of gold gilt and brightly colored jewels sparkling among the trees leaves. Between the tree trunks are partially concealed rabbits, elves and mushrooms growing throughout the woods. A black cat is walking on a branch between tree trunks and is watching a small mouse, while an elf dances on a mushroom cap below. Lid of vase is brightly decorated and carries on the pattern of the jeweled leaves. Marked on the underside with the Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood”, “England” and “Z4968H”. SIZE: 11-1/4” t.
