LARGE SIX GALLON STONEWARE CROCK WITH BIRD AND FLOWERS. 10” bird sits on a spray having three flower branches above which impressed with mark “E & L P Norton, Bennington, VT 6”. 1861-1881. Two handled large crock has three incised lines at top and bold blue decoration and brown glaze interior. SIZE: 13-1/2” h x 13-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Crack on left side which extends from the rim to the edge of the handle and makes a Y for another 5”. Otherwise good. 9-28309 (1000-1500)
