*EXTREMELY FINE BERTUZZI 28GA SIDELOCK EJECTOR SHOTGUN. SN 5772. 26-3/4″ chopper lump bbls, unmarked except on flats (“Armi Bertuzzi”), and with high matted rib. Action shows high relief oak leaf fences and beautifully executed rose and scroll engraving. Beaded trigger guard, sgl non-selective trigger, non-automatic safety, nicely figured European walnut straight grip stock, 14-5/8″ over checkered wood butt. “Safe” inlaid in gold, gold lined tumbler ends (cocking indicators). Beaver tail forend has Bertuzzi crest inlaid in central diamond. Choked imp. cylinder and modified. Drop at comb: 1-1/4″, drop at heel: 2-1/8″. Weight:5lbs 10.5oz. Comes in orig Italian leather case with leather corners with Bertuzzi label, pair of snap caps, and key. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new, possibly test fired only, except for a few minor blemishes on stock, extractor wipe marks on breech face, and a few rub marks where forend touches bbls. Trigger plate screw and trigger guard screw show screwdriver marks. Bores and chambers are excellent. Trigger works fine and ejectors are perfectly timed. Top lever closes considerably right of center. Case is very good plus with a few scuffs and handling marks. 4-31695 MGM5 (22,500-27,500)
