CHINESE EXPORT COVERED TEAPOT WITH EAGLE DECORATION. Tapered form with angular spout and strap handle. Eagle has shield with flowers. Similar to Nichols Family of Salem, Mass. Cover has fruit finial and rust/orange decoration to cover and rim of teapot. SIZE: 10” h (with cover). CONDITION: Teapot has two small hairlines with dings. Otherwise very good. 9-99237 (500-1,000)
