RARE 18” MARKED PAINTED EYE HURET FASHION. An outstanding example of a rare and desirable doll with a fully marked body. She has a swivel neck, painted cornflower eyes and delicate features that enhance her pale bisque. The leather torso has the “Huret” stamp and address of the firm. She wears a wonderful antique costume with wonderful black silk slippers with heels marked “T” on the sole. Accompanied by receipt indicating its purchase in 1974 for $1,250 as well as a general history and the business card from the person from whom it was purchased. CONDITION: The gutta percha arms and jointed lower legs have had repair and repainting.
