LARGE 1907 JUMEAU CHILD DOLL. Head is incised “1907 14” and the body has a rectangular paper label on the back of the torso “BEBE JUMEAU Diplome d’Honneur”. She has very smooth good quality bisque with brown paperweight eyes, open mouth with six upper teeth, pierced ears and is on her original fully jointed wood and composition body with original finish. She has been re-costumed in a reproduction Jumeau cotton chemise with blue printed flowers and a newer ash blond human hair wig over a cork pate as well as newer gray leather slippers with oval brass buckles. SIZE: 31-1/2″ (81cm). CONDITION: Very good, two fingers on left hand are broken and re-glued. 1-8187 RS (1,800-2,200)
