UNSIGNED (19th Century) LONGHORN STEER. Oil on canvas portrait of a black and white longhorn steer. He stands upon a brushy top bluff with hills in the background under a blue sky. Housed in a period gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 18” x 15”. CONDITION: Five small patches to reverse with minor inpainting. 2” taped slit in bushes. Generally very good. 9-73552 (1,300-1,500)
