MONUMENTAL DAUM CAMEO & ENAMELED VASE. Exceptionally fine Daum vase has cameo lilacs, stems and leaves set against a light blue opalescent background. The lilac flowers are beautifully enameled in shades of red, while the stems and leaves are done with nicely shaded grays with gold detailing. Horizontal band, at the top, has gold gilt stippled background and cameo and enameled leaves and five petaled flowers. Flowers are done in rich purple, while the leaves and stems are gray with gold detail. Signed on the underside in gold enamel “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. Vase is accompanied by a contemporary fitted presentation box with dark blue exterior with navy and royal blue velvet and satin lining. SIZE: 20″ t.
