President Truman’s twice repeated statement about the immediate admittance of 100,000 Jews to Palestine. October 4, 1946. McMillan, seated in a jeep, is handing a rifle to Saudi. In the background, standing next to a barrel of Arabian oil is Uthandt. Uncle Sam’s hat is inverted on the top of the barrel. This is an extremely rare and historically significant depiction of the on going problems existing between the United State and Israel and Palestine. C 1948. SIZE: 19″ x 25 3/4″.
