LOT OF 13 MISC. KNIVES. (1) European made Bowie with integral game shears. It has 6-3/4″ clip point blade, 3-3/8″ scissors blade, dbl ivory handles with finger grooves. Worn and pitted with light rust. Sheath is dry. (2) Homemade 11-1/4″ horn handled knife with hour glass handle dbl edged with homemade sheath-good. (3) T. Assmann small machete with bass handle guard, bone and corn handle with a boot shaped pommel & red leather sheath with shoe eyelets-good. (4) Large, heavy homemade bowie with 11-3/8″ X 2-3/4″ X 3/16″ clip point blade, S shaped hand guard and 6-3/4″ handle with wooden scales and 13 copper rivets, no sheath-rusted and pitted but fine. (5) Early butcher knife with walnut handles with cast pewter decorations. 5-1/2″ worn blade, homemade Indian style sheath with brass rivets. Blade worn and polished, sheath-good. (6) Homemade clip point Bowie 9-3/4″ blade marked on each side “CSA”, it has a large iron hand guard & a tapered handle with wooden scales. The left ricasso is spuriously marked “W.J. McElroy & Co. / Macon” & the right side is spuriously marked “CS / 1862″ accompanied with crude leather sheath with harness rivets-broken tip, hammered blade, moderate rust. (7) Homemade clip point Bowie with 9-5/8″ well proportioned blade, small elliptical iron hand guard with large soup bone handle with a well made Indian style belt sheath with a tremendous number of brass buttons. Blade is fine, sheath is very fine. (8) Fine R.Mann custom hunting knife with 5″ clip point blade dated 1980 & #11 on the left ricasso. It has a single side brass hand guard with red & black phenolic handle with its orig decorated, signed sheath-extremely fine. (9) Large dbl edged arrow point knife with 8″ blade, aluminum hand guard & pommel with cracked, fluted horn handle-good. (10) Mid-Eastern tourist knife with 7-3/4″ curved blade, brass furniture with carved walnut sheath and handle-good. (11) German boot knife with 6″ dagger blade, aluminum hand guard, white plastic handle with aluminum oak & acorn inlay with orig green leather sheath-good. (12) Carving knife made into a hunting knife, 7-1/4″ clip pint blade, star shaped hand guard, stag handle with embossed ferrule & pommel with homemade suede sheath-fair to good. (13) Very large Spanish made sailors type folding knife with 15” blade, brass & horn handle with locking back and decorative carving on the blade & handle.
