GALLE MARQUETRY VASE. Outstanding Galle vase has maroon marquetry flower with yellow center surrounded by marquetry green leaves and blue, yellow and pink flowers in the background. The wheel carved flowers, stems and leaves are set against a mottled cream colored background with martele design. Vase carries a wonderful flowing engraved signature “Galle” and is dated next to the signature “1900”. Design is finished with a beautifully wheel carved white dragonfly near the rim. SIZE: 5-1/2″ t.
