FRENCH MODEL 1845 INFANTRY OFFICER’S SWORD. 29” dbl fuller blade marked “Ovulaue & Cie Klingenthal” on the spine. Small proof appears on the right side of the blade. Grip is spiral carved wood; the hilt is brass. CONDITION: Blade has been cleaned and varnished but retains a bright appearance with scattered light pitting. Grip shows little wear, brass has a dark patina. 4-48516 FS138 (200-400)
