FRENCH 1848 OFFICER’S SWORD. 32-1/2” dbl fuller blade has etched panels on both sides. The back of the sword is engraved “Klingenthal-Co…”. Scabbard is missing. CONDITION: Gray-brown patina on the blade with slight wear to the etched surfaces. The guard is broken at the center of the knuckle guard. Most of the leather covering is missing on the grip, but the wire is still intact. 4-48842 FS189 (150-250)
