GALLE ENAMELED VASE. Very fine Galle vase is a dark amber color with acid etched chipped ice finish. Vase is decorated with cameo and enameled thistles, stems and leaves. Leaves are heavily enameled in reds and whites, some thistle blossoms are enameled in red and white while some blossoms are done in gold gilding, as are some leaves. Signed on the underside with engraved signature “Galle Depose” within an oak leaf-type outline. SIZE: 10″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-66278 (3,500-4,500)
