SMALL EAGLE HEAD SWORD. 30-3/4” single fuller blade with engraved and blue decorations. The hilt has an American eagle on the counterguard and an eagle’s head for a pommel. The bone scales are checkered. CONDITION: Light to moderate pitting on the blade with about 30% of the blue remaining. The hilt has a mellow patina. The right scale has two small chips missing, the left has tiny chips missing at each corner. Strong traces of silver plate remain on the rear of the knuckle guard. 4-48840 FS192 (300-600)
