ATTRIBUTED TO HORACE BUNDY (American, 1814-1883) SLEEPING CHILD. Oil on canvas interior scene shows a young child wrapped in white sheet asleep in a small cushioned bed. Signed lower right in script which appears to be Th. or H. Kien..”. It is possible that the signature is Bundy’s. On the back is written “Horace Bundy C. 1844” on the relining. Housed in a very fine mahogany ogee frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 23-1/4” x 29”. CONDITION: Relined, inpainting, very good. 9-28952 (1200-1600)
