TWO SIGNED LETTERS BY JOHN F. KENNEDY. Both involve the recent widow Mrs. Rita V. Stelline. The first letter, dated May 20th, 1953 is in response to Stephen D’Arcy’s request for information regarding the windows pension. It is on United States Senate John F. Kennedy stationary and signed “John Kennedy”. Accompanying the letter is a copy dated May 15th of the response to Kennedy from Colonel F. B. Carberry. Second letter dated June 8th, 1953 on Kennedy Senate stationary indicating to Stephen D’Arcy that the request is being dealt with by the Veterans Administration. It is signed “John” and has a copy of the original correspondence attached. Along with these two letters is the original request from Stephen D’Arcy which indicates that John Stelline, the widows husband, was killed in action on April 15th, 1953. SIZE: 10-1/2” x 8”.
