SMALL FULL STOCK PERCUSSION KENTUCKY RIFLE. Cal. About 42. NSN. Dainty late Kentucky with 31-1/4″ oct smoothbore bbl, fixed sights, with late style front action lock. It is mounted in a 1-pc walnut stock with raised side panels, brass furniture and crescent buttplate. It is made without forend tip, with one brass guide and nose pipe with faceted typical trigger guard. Accompanied by a very old replacement hickory ramrod. CONDITION: Very good. Metal retains a mottled silver/brown patina with heavy rust on the hammer and light to moderate pitting on the bbl. Wood is sound with the brass retaining a dark mustard patina. Nosepipe has a 3/8″ hole. Battered screws & replacement lockplate screw. Ex Hank Truslow Collection. 4-54197 JR464 (400-700)
