*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 DELUXE FIELD GRADE. SN 25442. Cal. 12 gauge. 28″ bbls with matted concave rib and single silver sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers, MOD/FULL choke, ejectors, and single trigger. Step side receiver with trigger plate stamped, “Deluxe” over trigger plate screw, and, “Field” under it. Mounted with fancy walnut, full checkered beavertail forend with black tip insert, checkered pistol grip stock with steel grip cap, checkered side panels, 14-1/2″ over leather covered pad. Bore diameter: left -.726, right -.726. Bore restrictions: left -.033, right -.008. Wall thickness: left -.033, right -.031. Drop at heel: 2-1/2″. Drop at comb: 1-1/2″. Weight: 10 lbs 11 oz. CONDITION: Fine as restored. Bbls have nearly all of a fine restored blue with only few very minor light handling marks. Receiver has a fine restored finish with the body being somewhat purple, and floor plate and trigger guard being a nice blue color. Top tang has been polished to have removed most of the first number in the serial number, and “SAFE” is kind of thin. Stock is sound with only a few minor handling marks with sharp crisp checkering, and a fine hand rubbed oil finish. Leather covered pad is starting to show a little wear at heel and toe. 4-32131 BDT193 (3,000-5,000)
