*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 TRAP GRADE SIDE BY SIDE SHOTGUN. SN 8454. Cal. 12 gauge. 32″ matted rib bbl with dual brass sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, FULL/FULL choke, ejectors and single trigger. Early side panel receiver with “TRAP” marked above trigger plate screw. Mounted in fancy checkered walnut with checkered splinter forend, checkered pistol grip with checkered side panels, 14-1/2″ over Winchester solid red pad. Bore diameter: left -.730, right -.732. Bore restrictions: left -.033, right -.035. Wall thickness: left -.032, right -.029. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″. Drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs 12 oz. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain 95-98% of a fine quality restored blue. There are a few minor scratches and thinning spots. Receiver retains 90-95% orig blue with sharp edge wear and on left side hinge pin, and just a few minor scratches. Stock is sound with usual nicks, dings, and some minor scratches. Retains 80-85% of it’s orig finish with some rubbed areas in the rear portion and at the toe, and some flaked areas in the pistol grip and checkering area. Checkering is good, but a little dark. Forend is sound, and has wear through the rear portion, and retains about 50-60% of it’s orig finish in the forward area. This is a nice early “TRAP GRADE” model 21. 4-33789 BDT189 (6,000-8,000)
