*WONDERFUL WINCHESTER MODEL 21 TOURNAMENT SKEET GRADE. SN 9890. Cal. 20 gauge. 26″ bbls with matted concave rib, silver center, and Bradley front sighting beads. 2-3/4″ chambers with WS-1/WS-2 choke, ejectors, and single trigger. Left bbl is marked, “Winchester – 20 Gauge.” Standard step side receiver with floor plate engraved, “Tournament” above floor plate screw, and, “Skeet” below. Mounted with nicely figured walnut, kidney style checkered beavertail forend, checkered pistol grip stock, 14″ to checkered butt. Bore diameter: left -.614, right -.614. Bore restrictions: left -.007, right -(.015). Wall thickness: left -.029, right -.027. Drop at heel: 2-3/8″. Drop at comb: 1-5/8″. Weight: 6 lbs 9 oz. Accompanied with Cody Firearm Museum letter identifying this gun as a model G2190B which is a tournament grade with 14″ pull, and shipped December 27, 1935. Also comes with a vintage brown leather Leg of Mutton case. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain 97-98% orig blue with slight muzzle wear, a few very minor scratches, and a couple minor discoloration spots in the rib. Receiver has 90-95% orig blue with sharp edge wear, and a small amount of flaking on trigger plate. Trigger guard has flaked across the bow to have only traces of blue remaining with a mixture of silver and brown patina. Grip area of trigger guard shows wear to a silver/patina. Stocks are sound with minimal amount of nicks and scratches, and a small amount of wear in the grip area. Checkering is good, and retains most of it’s orig finish. Checkering of the butt is still good with wear to the finish around the outside. Case is in good shape, intact with all of it’s straps and handles. 4-32257 BDT205 (8,000-12,000)
