SPENCER MODEL 1865 SADDLE RING CARBINE. CAL. 50 Spencer. SN: 10795. 20” rnd bbl. Marked “SPENCER REPEATING / RIFLE CO.BOSTON MASS. / PAT’D MARCH. 6. 1860.”on top of the receiver, “M. 1865” from muzzle to breech on the bbl. “ESA” cartouche on the left side of the stock with inspector initials on small parts. The Stabler cutoff is intact. CONDITION: Traces of blue in protected places on the bbl, otherwise gray patina with scattered light pitting. Wood has minor dents and scratches and one scraped area behind the lockplate. Action is fine. 4-52776 FS190 (1,500-2,500)
